N. Laughlin, Executive Director

Dr.Laughlin is the Executive Director and Co-Founder of Allies Way, a Georgia-based nonprofit dedicated to addressing homelessness and food insecurity through dignity-centered, community-driven solutions. Under her leadership, Allies Way has grown from grassroots outreach into a structured organization delivering emergency housing assistance, meal programs, and wraparound support for families in crisis. With a background in public administration and human resources, Dr. Laughlin brings a systems-minded approach to nonprofit leadership, building sustainable programs rooted in accountability and impact. She is deeply committed to ensuring families receive timely support while pathways to long-term stability are strengthened.

India Windon, Program Director

India Windon serves as Program Director of Allies Way, where she leads the design and implementation of community programs addressing food insecurity, housing instability, and family support. A health educator with over two decades of experience in event planning and community engagement, she brings a hands-on, people-centered approach to outreach that prioritizes dignity, education, and access. India is known for coordinating large-scale community initiatives, building partnerships, and ensuring programs are both impactful and responsive to real-time needs. Her work reflects a deep commitment to empowering families through education, consistency, and compassionate service.

Bryan Laughlin, Board Co-Chair

Dominique Batts is a mission-driven nonprofit leader with over a decade of experience strengthening housing systems and managing client-centered community programs. As a Board Member of Allies Way, she brings strategic insight and a deep commitment to expanding services that create lasting impact for individuals and families.

Akilah McDaniel is a community-focused advocate with a background in human services and real estate, dedicated to expanding equitable access to resources across Georgia. As a Board Member of Allies Way, she brings lived experience and strategic insight to support families facing housing insecurity and advance community-driven solutions.

LaConteau Williams is an award-winning marketing and communications executive with over eleven years of experience supporting nonprofit and community-centered organizations. As a Board Member of Allies Way, she contributes her expertise in strategic storytelling and outreach to help strengthen families and uplift communities.

Bryan Laughlin brings over two decades of leadership experience across military service, logistics, and operations management, including nearly ten years with the United States Marine Corps. As Board Co-Chair of Allies Way, he provides disciplined oversight and operational insight to support sustainable growth and strengthen the organization’s mission-driven impact.

Shareena Jackson brings over a decade of experience in operations, risk management, and compliance, with a background in insurance leadership and organizational governance. As Board Chair of Allies Way, she provides strategic oversight and accountability to ensure the organization grows responsibly while advancing its mission to serve families facing housing and food insecurity.

Taylor Fisher is a nonprofit consultant and certified nonprofit accounting professional with extensive experience supporting small organizations through financial management, operations, and sustainable growth. As a Board Member of Allies Way, she brings a strong commitment to addressing food insecurity and homelessness by strengthening the systems that help communities thrive.
